About The Children's Place
The Children's Place has been serving the greater San Carlos community since 1981. The Community United Church of Christ in San Carlos opened The Children's Place doors to meet the needs of working parents seeking a loving and nurturing environment for their children, TCP continues to offer a non-sectarian program with a qualified and experienced teaching staff.
At the Children's Place we are dedicated to aiding in the development of the whole child by offering a variety of activities that develop a sense of self confidence, creativity, and social development. Our purpose is to encourage young children to develop at their own pace allowing them to explore, create and experiment naturally. The program provides a variety of experiences in art, science, music, drama, gymnastics and movement.
